Goin in on Sat. to sign the paperwork for two new bikes.
$1500 off MSRP.
$16000 on Trade for the Ultra
$14500 on the FLHX (Both Bikes '07's and are almost stock)
I went in knowing EXACTLY what I wanted. What I wanted for trades and what I wanted for new Bikes. Be prepared to walk if you dont get what you want...they WILL call you back.

Can you break this a little more. New or used/bike or bikes. What are you trading what are you buying.
There's a dealership in Rochester MN (I believe) that just about everyone in KC was going to. They were about $1,000 under MSRP on current year and $2,000 under on previous year bikes and gave you a decent chunk off any accessories you wanted to pick up with the purchase. I haven't looked at new bikes, but the local stealer in Paducah was doing chrome front ends for $400 installed the end of last year.
I bought mine with no set up fees, no doc fees, no freight and a few hundred off. They have 08 touring bikes left and they are installing 103 kits for free if you purchase one.
I bought my Ultra in NE Ohio. Traded in an '07 SG, cobalt blue with lowers, backrests, cruise, and 10k miles. They gave me $16.5k for my trade (which was worth more like $17.8k due to the tax credit). I paid MSRP for the Ultra, no freight or prep. Pretty sure I got a good deal. My buddy has been watching '07 SG's on Ebay and he says they're going for about $13.5k right now.
Seminole Harley in Sanford Florida wants to deal. I traded in my 05 C90 Suzuki for a 09 Street Glide, Pearl Black, ABS, Cruise, Security for 15K out the door + they gave me 500 in store credit with 15% off . I thought it was a good deal? I bet if you called them they would pick you up at either Sanford or Orlando airport. If you do tell them Gordon sent you it is worth 100 to me.
I just bought an 09 Street Glide from Texan HD in Conroe and paid MSRP. I considered going up to Oklahoma as the dealer in Bartlesville is $ 1,000 off MSRP but that meant trailering a trade in up there and the new bike back here. If your looking in Oklahoma, try Bartlesville Cycle Sports.
I have this theory about why dealers are still selling at MSRP. Even though the economy is bad, the dealers are only getting so many bikes (less than a normal year), so they will have less chances to make money. I think they think they will sell the fewer bikes they get so need to sell them at full cost to make enough money for the year. They will be selling less bikes but their overhead will still be nearly the same unless they lay some of the staff off. Selling the fewer bikes they get all below MSRP won't help them much.
