So I'm in it over $300 to add the heavy breather and this part to cover the TBW electronics. Guess my decision is even easier now. I got the Ventilator for $172.50 & nothing else to buy.
I was talking the price of the Heavy Breather and the cover from Kuryakyn ($79). My biggest gripe with the Breather is seeing the ugly TBW box mounted to the throttle body.

I saw it on a S/E RG a few weeks ago at a dealer. Looks very nice and is quite low profile. I would say maybe an inch 1/2 thinner, or more, than the stock football. There's a pic of it, on the CVO page on H-D's website.
I have an 08 SG and I put the heavy breather on it. I love the look, it doesn't interfere with my legs and as was said earlier, it's more aggressive looking. You have to use the rain sock on both so to me, the HB makes the bigger statement. I haven't seen a bike with the ventilator and it may look fine but it's not my style--which is why they make more than 1. It's what ever makes you happy and I'm glad not every bike looks like mine.
I love the look of the Heavy Breather. It gives the bike a more aggressive look. I don't mind the black throttle cover much, but I'm intrigued with the Kury part mentioned above. Looking at the Kury website, it doesn't say if it will work with the Heavy Breather, so I guess I'll have to contact them. Anyone know for sure?

$79 more dollars on a 20,000 bike that's why i don't worry about price and get what i want.
