I was talking the price of the Heavy Breather and the cover from Kuryakyn ($79). My biggest gripe with the Breather is seeing the ugly TBW box mounted to the throttle body.

It's not so much the $$ as the having the TBW box hanging out there exposed. Then to cover it up, I have to buy another piece which in turn covers up more of the engine. Too much clutter for me. Looks great on the earlier bikes.

For you guys that got the Ventilator, would you happen to know if the air cleaner trim pieces for Sportsters fit on the cover? I love the unit, but I'm not crazy about the screaming eagle trim.

I'm still waiting for mine to come in. I'm not sure on fitment for any trim, but I'm guessing as these sell they will offer some other trim pieces to compliment it to your taste. I will also look at having the piece powdercoated or scripted. FYI, a local dealer,LINK, is offering 25% off this weekend if your serious about getting one or any other items you may need.
will the Screaming Eagle Ventilator work on 2008 touring models catalog says for 2009 / 2010. i have 08 road glide just put glove boxes in lowers and have to replace Screaming Eagle Compact Heavy Breather with another free flowing air filter set up.

I have an 08 and have had I on my bike for well over a year now. Looks great, low profile, hides all electronics and is easy to maintain. So yes, they make one for an 08. Once K&N makes a replacement filter element, I'll be ordering one of those for it.
the ventilator to me looks great and doesn't sacrifice leg room. i have a vivid black streetglide and will likely get one for it. they just look cool and flow plenty of air without sticking out there catching bugs. the black version of the ventilator looks really sharp in my opinion.
The only down side of the Ventilator is that some of the shops that I have talked to say that it doesn't flow as well as the Heavy Breather. I was building the motor for a reason, so I went with the HB. I am not overly excited about the looks of them, but it sure moves.....
