??? Pledge ???
I am looking forward to giving Lemon Pledge a try. Any one try Orange Pledge?
I have been using http://purpleslice.com/ . It's a bit pricy but I found out a detailer for Arlen Ness loves the stuff.

I have been using Pledge for years. My bike is 4 years old, wash it a couple of times a year, have never waxed it and still looks new...
We use it on airplane and helicopter plexi. also. Doesn't seem to fog up as some other plexi cleaners are prone to do.

Just started using Lemon Pledge right after a wash and it really gives a nice slick shine to the bike.
Obviously an occasional Waxing is still in order but between waxings the Lemon Pledge seems to work great. I'd only do it when the bike is really clean though, not any significant dust on it cuz dust, at least where i live here in the high desert, is very abrasive.

I applied Pledge late this morning on a nice clean bike and six hours later I see no visible dust attracted to the nice vivid black finish or the chrome that I went over. Bike is in the garage uncovered, so far so good.
Okay, I went out and got a can of Lemon Pledge also. On the windshield it works awesome. On the black it seems to work really well also. Like others have said though, make sure the dust is off, I use an air hose to blast mine with first. No, it doesn't replace a good wash job and wax, but as a quick detailer it seems to work very well.
Hey, I use the Pledge wipes.
Nice compact package fits anywhere on the bike, no overspray, disposable...
Follow it up with a microfiber cloth & everything looks nice!
Paint, chrome, leather, plexiglass, whatever!

I use one all the time on my black show car and black Harley and have never had a problem.
I used the pledge and honestly I think it sux! I went by my paint guy and he was tripping at the oil film all over my bike. He asked what the hell was all over my bike and I told him pledge. He freaked out and totally wiped my bike down with McGuires. I told him I saw everybody was using it and he said they were all crazy. He suggested a 1 to 4 mix of windex for the bike with microfiber and soapy water for the windshield. He says the pledge leaves a oil film and to avoid it. He also said wash my bike every week or two because the clear coat they use these days are awesome and wash till your hearts content. And after a few years if the paint looks like it's fading then use wax, but only use wax a few years down the road. Just my 2 cents.

100 % agree!!! We use it on the bottom of our sleds to haul our gear out in the snow/ice fields. They slide like they are not touching the ground!! I made the mistake in the dark one night and did not pay attention to one after getting gear out of it, stepped back into it, and took off like someone shoved me with all they had. Busted my a$$ and head like a linebacker nailed me!! The other guys found it amuseing, but not me!!! Lesson learned.
