I have used pledge also. Use it now only for a quick wipe if dusty. I found that Protectol, found in Walmart RV section works great as a cleaner and protector. I give the bike a great wash and wax at the beginning of the season and use protectol (spray) the rest of the season, even after a wash. Seems to work great

No Pledge for me! Tried it, don't like it. Seems to attract dust to me. It does work good on desolving bugs on the windshield. I'll stick with a quality wax and detail spray.

I found that Wizard detailer is quick and easy to work with. Spray it on filp the cloth over, wipe it off. I use it on everything.

try to paint something after its had a dozen coats or so of pledge !.... Come on guys its furniture polish... If you need a spray and wipe product then id try mequires or one of the other automotive or motorcycle detailers out there.. And on the california duster.. You dont use pressure you just lightly run it over the surface.
Your Welcome

Use to use Pledge on my boat until everybody started busting their ***** stepping on the finish with wet feet. Pledge + water = injury.

I use pledge all the time on my bike..........works great.

Some have said it attracts bees and hornets, but I haven't noticed that at all.

Ok, now I'm confused. Do you use pledge instead of waxing? I would believe that with all of the automotive products out there on the market today that you wouldn't have to use furniture polish on your motorcycle.

Default It does seem to work.

After reading the forumns here, I bought a can and tried it just a couple of days ago. I just sprayed it on and wiped it off with an old tee shirt and it looks great. As they said, dust doesn't seem to want and sit on the finish. I'm sold on the quick clean up. I will still use a good wax but this is great in the quick clean catagories.
