Any feedback on instalation on a SG 2008 ? dont like the see through ones from Kuryakan since will see scuff marks on it eventually...

So they say, it's so darned cold here that I'm gonna take it off my '09 to see if I can get more heat! They really are supposed to keep the heat off your thighs. There is also a sponsor here that sells 'em, No More Fried Thighs or something like that.

ive got the rj originals and love them really help keep the heat off look good and since there upholstered they should look good a long time ,unlike the plastic that will scuff and scratch and loose its tint. and there all american made labor and materials by vets.

Maybe its me, but I just don't get the hype about these heat deflectors. I've been riding many years, and it just comes with the package. Rocks get kicked up from the vehicle in front of you, weather elements (rain, hail, heat, etc). Kinda makes me wonder how soft are we getting as a biker community. I call it part of the thrill. I rode it here I'll ride it back.
