great so far
picked mine up about noon saturday in sept and took off for the weekend. got home sunday night with 1265 miles on it. 5th gear is noisey which we all know the whine it makes. Im going to try gear oil after reading all the posts to see if it gets a bit quieter. the only thing I dont like in the cold weather, down in the low 50's or high 40's is that i get more air under the fairing then I did on my 2003 electraglide. not sure if the new lowers with doors deflects more up and air comes over the tank. I dont believe the old deflectors on the forks will fit the 2009 without hitting the lowers when the bars are turned all the way inwards. Luv the extra power, the solid frame bike doesnt flex as much, 6th gear. Have added hog tunes , harley speakers didnt last long on my last harley. went out the next weekend and put another 2000 miles on it from friday till monday. stopped at the harley factory where it was built on the way home.

I only wish I was qualified to respond to their reliability and comfort. Unfortunately, this economy has some of us still riding the old boys. It'll turn around, and then I'll give y'all an ear ache about how nice the 2010 tourers are....

09 UC is much improved in ride, heat and power over my 06 UC. It is a little higher. I am 5'9" and put a air ride on it so I could stand flat footed. Weighs a bit more but you get used to that very fast and is not a problem. This bike is very close to being perfect. Love to ride it and can't wait to head out to Daytona in a couple of days. 6,000 miles so far. HD did a great job on the 09 Ultra.

Mine's a Road King but it's a great bike is all i can say - ZERO complaints and every moment on that bike is an ear to ear grin. It's a solid ride, good power and very comfortable.
