I've had mine for 18 months and it works great. As far as it getting stolen I torque mine with channel locks and a rag. I would buy again.

I've had mine for over a year with no problems. Seems to work just fine. I must have gotten one of the rare good ones.

I'm glad I read this post. I was thinking of getting one of those myself. There are a few positives but I see mostly negatives.

Thumbs down

I have to admit I had one. The readings were erratic. I decided to go back to the stock cap and sell the digital one. I laid it on its side for about a week until I had time to list it. Unfortunately, the oil drained into the top and ruined it. For what it's worth I would never get another one.

Default "Dipstick" !!!!

I've heard stupid people called a dipstick before and the digital dipstick sold by Harley is a real "dipstick" it does not read the oil level anymore, says the oil is cool, and says error. I've had it a little over a year, I'm ready to stick the original one back in.

Went through 3 of them in a matter of a couple weeks not one of them lasted more than a day, stealer wouldn,t let me get any more said he wasn,t gonna be able to warranty them, look cool, when it worked for the 1st hour i like it but they didn't hold up to the heat from the engine (no heat problem from 07 motors - bu*&sh*% )
