Yes they do. I'm using a Fastaire tinted windshield so it's not only hard to see the rub marks, but I can change out shields for under $50 when they really get bad. I also bought the 1/4" thick dark felt with the double stick tape at wallace world, then cut it to size and put it between the bags and the windshield at strategic locations. Voila! No more scratches.
