Yes they do. I'm using a Fastaire tinted windshield so it's not only hard to see the rub marks, but I can change out shields for under $50 when they really get bad. I also bought the 1/4" thick dark felt with the double stick tape at wallace world, then cut it to size and put it between the bags and the windshield at strategic locations. Voila! No more scratches.

I don't DARE let the wife see these pics, or she'd be wanting it done before spring. She was the one talked me into the chrome controls! Beautiful, just beautiful... those inner fairings make a real statement, there's no doubt about that!
