Default Chroming Rear Sprocket on a Bagger?

When upgrading wheels, rotors, forks, etc to chrome, how many exchange out the rear sprocket to chrome? On a bagger, specially a Street Glide with the side fender panels, you really can't see the sprocket at all. It's $145 chrome exchange. What's the consenus??

On both my bike, as well as my Pops...we went with having it painted or powdercoated to match the bike.

Can't really see it, but if someone goes to looking closely at the bike, it a little detail that is cool...it's something different than chrome.

I have an IDS on my bike and I polished the outer 1/2 of the pulley, it looks good that way.
I will however take it off some day and have it chrome plated.
You didn't tell us what you ride so it's a little hard to give you an answer

For you guys who think that no one can see your rear wheel or pulley..........

Yes, we can!!

Just another detail that people do notice.

Except for you guys who put those cartoonish extended bags on.

I bought the HD chrome cover instead of dropping $500 on a matching rear sprocket. It's not a match, but it looks pretty good...what little you can see of it with the bags covering it.
