Aux jack on the radio and a small patch cord and you're good to go.

I am interested to see an interface cable that will allow you to use the hand controls like you can do with cars that have steering wheel controls. Had one installed in the OL's car.

This is more of what I am waiting for. I already have a cable that plugs into the data port on my Ipod Touch, but want to be able to control it from the radio like the one in my truck. Right now I would have to go aftermarket to do that.

Heres what I did on my 07:

3' Aux cable from radio shack (5.00)
DLO Ipod Charger Kit (30.00)
HD Supplimental Power Point (20.00)

I had the 3' Aux cable routed in the fairing and then through where the handlebars come out and zip tied to the bar. When the cable wasnt used I tucked it into where the bars met the inner fairing. The Ipod charger kit went under the seat and routed the wire under the tank, up into the fairing and out where the Aux cable was as well. The power point was then plugged into the aux port on the bike.

When I plugged my ipod in it would play fine. When I wanted to charge it while playing it, all i had to do was switch the aux switch on the fairing and the ipod would charge. Problem solved.

To mount the ipod I used kuryakyns handlebar accessory mount. When I didnt use the ipod I unscrewed the mount and just left the mounting piece on the bar. Nice simple, all hidden installation.

You can see some of it in my youtube video here:

Any questions, feel free to ask. Im here to help you all as much as you help me.

Im guessing there is nothing out there for the HK, on long trips an adaptor that keeps ipod charged and also to use handlebar controls would be nice. I dont want to be messing with an ipod while riding, theyre hard enough to use the dang wheel when sitting still let alone with gloves on etc.
