Lower Fairing's

Spring is almost here in MT, and I'm considering putting the lower fairing's on my bike. Would appreciate any thoughts out there regarding effectiveness, ease of installation, etc.

Very effective at keeping wind off your legs, look great and piece of cake to install. Hope that helps.

Easy on and off. You can also get the quick detach hardware kit, but I never bothered.

Pretty easy to install. The clamps can be a pain but there are a few threads with tips on that subject. Haven't taken mine off yet. Of course it really hasn't been warm enough to. Might not have to though because I bought the vented ones. As far as effectiveness I didn't really think they did much at first and was ready to take them off and sell them. That is until I went out for a 40° ride w/o chaps. My legs didn't get cold at all. Sold me.

Five minute install. I take mine off sometimes to clean the bike. I ride with them on year-round, though.

ps: Dawg's two-tone faring caps are friggin' SWEET looking!

As I recall a swivel socket makes the job easier!

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments. So, should I try and buy them with the vents, or solid, and then install the vents. Not sure yet on price differences, just exploring the options? Thanks again....
