GOT THIS FROM ZANOTTI today but i found the brandywine sunglow in ppg for less money and i could get it in half pints for my inner fairing.. I hope to paint it yet this week and ill have to post the ppg paint numbers .. Actually the prices for qts arent too bad if you need that much.. I remember the old days where id just by a pint and have some extra in the paint cabinet but not anymore.. especially with no job .. For 2 1/2 pints of ppg it was 94 and some change.. I wonder what color the primer is they are selling? im thinking its black

Hi,
Heres prices on the parts you asked about.

98609BXY ( Quantity 1 Fire red pearl base coat - qt) $ 98.02
99825-02 ( Quantity 1 Urethane activator - 8 oz) $ 34.65

HD only sell the paint in quarts. Aerosol is not available for the colors above.
HD has the following note in their paint book.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, all colors require the following four steps:
1. Even if parts have been primed from HD it is still necessary to apply Primer 98603A (quart) or 98606A (aerosol) prior to applying base/top coats. This is required to maintain accurate matching of final color.
2. Base coat (if required)
3. Top coat
4. Clear coat 98609EK (quart) or 98606EK (aerosol)
One other note. If you are in Calif. we cannot send you the paint.
I just read your thread with great interest. I am looking at purchasing a Trigg Trike Kit for my 2006 Softail Deluxe / Brandywine Sunglo to be painted locally and would love the PPG colors for this and to know how this turned out on your bike? Thanks!
Hopefully it is still made in friggin 6burg, unlike the HD heated gloves and Willie G. HD boots I just learned are made in China.... Sorry but I am sooooooooooooo pissed......
