Ok so I swore after the last time I'd NEVER do this again... time to eat my words. I'm going to make the tour pak detachable and found a great deal on the two up detachable tour pak rack etc. Seller is out of town and I'm not sure if it comes with instructions or not and it's been a good minute since I've installed one. However, I DO REMEMBER all to well how fuggin pissed I was at the Moco for this POS design and **** poor instructions. I seem to recall having it all ready to go and mounted within an hour except for one damn bolt and that last one took me another 5 plus hours. I'd posted at the time and appears I'm not the only one who took this kinda time.
That all being said, does anyone have the actual instructions they could scan as a pdf or fax to me? Lastly, anyone have any tips to make the upcoming nightmare easier lol? Last time I cussed like a sailor, threw crap, screamed a good bit and was generally pretty well pissed off lol.
I am pretty sure I have them in a folder that I could pull out and scan if no one else has them. 1 piece of advice, leave all the bolts loose until they are all in place, then mount the tourpak and tighten evenly. Worked well for me but was still a pain. :-) If no one has them I will dig them out and scan.
Thanks Dennis.. I'll let ya know and yes a pain in my *** to say the very least. I seem to remember someone posting that even a stealer was charging about 4 hours labor to do the job and I can damn well believe it.
