Default Help Me Interpret this Dyno

I picked my bike up today after the dealer did a new dyno with the recently added Stage II 103 Kit. It already had a SE Air and Fatcats 2 to 1 pipes. The peak numbers are very close to others posted in a thread a couple of days ago, 89.97 HP and 104 Tq. If I'm reading this right it looks like the torque comes on a little later than others I have seen but doesn't begin to drop off until about 5500. The guy that performed the dyno said it took all day so I think he gave it a serious effort. I have not had a chance to ride it yet as it snowed yesterday so I can't report on the seat of pants impact.

I'd like to hear how others with more experience might analyze the attached dyno.

Too bad he didn't use equal scaling on both sides..............makes for a difficult sheet to read.

What cam did they use with that kit?

Yeah, having a different scale for HP & Tq makes it harder to compare.

It has the HD 255s.

regardless of scale, the torque curve looks good... there's no dips in it, solid pull all the way through the rpm range from what i can see on that blurry picture..

It does look a little strange on second look.. from the scaling look, the curves don't cross at 5252..

and.. did you notice the graphs show runs at 12:30 and 3:30 in the morning? The top of the dark curve is above 110tq. I don't think that should be pre-correction, but it may...

Looks almost identical to mine. 86 hp and 104 tq.

I don;t know why they started the readings at 2200 rpm's vs 1800 for the other set of readings. But your tq/hp lines intersect at 4100, and mine at 4400. Your tq does drop from 105ft/lb at 4100 to 85ft/lb at 5500 r's, while the hp climbs from ~80 to ~90.

Tq builds in almost straight line up from 2200 r's to 2800 r's where it flattens out from there all the way to ~4500 which is what you want in crusing and passing power. Your main crusing r's will be around 2000 to 2200, but you can drop a gear, revs climb up to peak torque power band and easily pass at highway speeds.

a/f ratio is stable between 13 and 14 all thr way across, mainly right on 13 most of the time which is perfect.

I'd say you got a dam good tune, and that motor is as good as it will get. You will be very happy with the SEII kit. I know I am.
Did you get compression releases?

Thanks guys. No compression releases, dealer swears I won't need them.

Looks about Identical to mine except you got a bit more torque I got 89 HP and 101 TQ with the exact same setup. My tuner said the D&D helps out the SE 255 by decreasing the drop off in torque at 4000 rpm. It still drops off but not nearly as steeply.

Torque is a measurement of HP. read this... they ALWAYS cross at 5252...
