Default stage 1 ecm
I am new to the fuel injected bikes. I recently purchased a set of se slip-ons, se air cleaner and a power commander. I was checking power commander's downloads and the show a map for my parts w/ a stage one ecm. My bike is bone stock. What is a stage one ecm and will this work with my 03 eg classic? If not, where can I find a down load for my items?

They are referring to the Stage 1 download that Harley has for those upgrades you are doing. Some bikes have the Harley map loaded into the ECM already. If your bike is stock you need to use a different map with your PC. Stock bikes would not have the Harley Stage 1 download.

Means that the ECM was previously flashed with the HD stage 1 download.

Thanks for the information. Does anyone know where to find downloads for my 03? I have only found the one using the se slipons.

what differance does the stage 1 download form HD do vs adding a PCV ?
