I am thinking about adding bras to my bags and heard that it could rub off the paint, any truth to this?[sm=americanasmiley.gif]

Not a big fan of them - - are you worried about dropping lots of things on it or hitting it with a boot on mount/dismount? I could understand the Fairing bra protectiopn from bugs on a long ride (I dont have one though)- - but on the lids? - IMHO -- I would prefer to see the paint--

I have a set because of my son, he just doesnt seem to get the KEEP YOUR DAMN BOOTS OFF THE BAGS THING. Also i have a Black bike so it really doesnt make that much of a difference as far as appearance. They are on in the photo below. They are easy toremove when cleaning the bike and i have seen no dulling of paint either. I also had the same set on my RK.

Just make sure you don't get moisture under the bra. It will turn the paint white because the moisture gets under the paint. Had one on my car. Forgot to take it off during the rain. When I took it off there were white spots all over the hood of my car. Had to use a blow dryer to get the moisture out from under the paint.
