Hey all just got word from my dealer who has painted and installed my tweeter pods, that my two bag fairing bag will no longer fit on my 2008 Street Glide... anyone else have this problem? I was told that with the fairing bag installed it creates a small gap between the outter and inner fairing... I will have to look at it tomorrow, but that it what I was told.. just wondering if anyone else has had this problem???
By the way, it looks sweet, especially painted Crimson Red Sunglow...
I took my HD 2 bag off. The mounts on the bags that wrap over the edge of the inner fairing held the wind screen out a little and caused a gap. Every time I washed the bike the gap allowed water to enter through the top of the fairing and land on top of my arc mini amp, and if I washed while bike was on jiffy stand the left speaker got wet. I am going to use the new t-bags windshield bag instead.
