painted inner fairing guys.

Hey all , I am re-assembling the bike and want to know what you think. I have the dual winshield bag/pounch and am thinking about not puttung it back on. I don't want to scratch that nice paint. Did those of you that have a painted inner fairing ditch your winshield bags?

I put it back on my dads when I installed his, but I dont/wont run one on mine, I only have a 2" shield!

I have the short one but its taller that 2 inches......I think I am gonna leave it off. It will look goos w/o it.

I put my three pocket pouch back on after painted inner fairing install. I didn't discover it was scratching the top of the inner until I took it off to change shields. I was pizzed that the "Chrome Expert" didn't warn me of the problem. Some adhesive backed foam such as thin weather stripping would have prevented the scratching. Now I have to leave it on or it would make me want to do bad things to good people!!!

Iam thinking on doing the same to my 09 U/G redhot sunglo, I would apprerciate if you could post some pics. I know they look great, just need some ideas. thanks
