You're too funny!!! You can bet I'm going to make darn sure I get myself an "I rode to Sturgis 2009" patch the first chance I get! LOL! I love me some patches! Now, if I only didin't feel like such a poser wearing a "patched up" vest !
I really need to update that blog. Since the last post, I've gotten a zillion times more comfortable on the bike. Rode to Austin and back in minimum 30 mph winds the whole time, been working on the Ride Like a Pro DVD Drills, done a couple of PGR Missions, etc. Also have several weekend bike trips/Rally's planned between now and then (more PATCHES!! ), so I should be good to go by that time. I'll also be spending some time in Santa Fe this summer with the bike for some mountain/twisty road experience.

Riding to Sturgis from Atlanta then home to N. California. Of course I'm riding to Atlanta first... My wife is flying and her bike is is being shipped to Atlanta.
This will be my fourth time to Sturgis. Staying at No Name City. Should be there sometime on the 3rd maybe the 4th.
Perhaps this year I'll park the bike long enough to do something other than ride the Black Hills....
