Over the winter I installed the Velva-Ride front mount on my 06 FLHRI.The install was easy as long as you follow the directions.I put only 100 miles on it, but I am impressed with the new smoothness at high RPMs.Anyone have any experience with this mount? can I expect any change while it breaks in? and will I have to make any adjustments later on.I cannot say anything about low RPM performance as I haven't ridden in four months and can't recall the previous performance.But now I find myself running the gears out longer before shifting up.Very nice.

 

I recently replaced the stock 06' mount with the Buell mount (forget the #). Haven't had alot of time to compare, but it does feel smoother than the stock. I thought about the Velva mount, but couldn't get any real feedback on it and the price was a bit too high without any strong recommendations.......
