Default hooking up a Ipod? bluetooth?

Hey all I'm trying to get away from the cable running from my stock HD radio to a fairing bag to run my IPOD, is there anything else out there that will allow me to still use my IPOD, like a blue tooth set up? Or anything else? I currently have a 2008 STreet Glide and I want to use a 1st gen Ipod Nano.

There has got to be something else that I can use... please help!

Thanks,

RJ

The expensive alternative is to purchase a radio from biketronics or the likes that has the Ipod adapter built into the stereo. I bought a Sony from biktronics and love it you can control the Ipod through the stereo.

I think Sony and a few others make a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the iPod then you will need a bluetooth headset of some kind and few bluetooth helmet speakers are stereo.

I have seen ipod bluetooth adaptors for about $40 online. They plug right into the bottom on the ipod and then transmit stereo bluetooth. What I haven't seen though is a stereo bluetooth RECEIVER that will output the sound through a minijack instead of headphones. Has anyone seen this yet?

There are NO bluetooth m/c systems that will play your music in stereo yet.

I'm like you and didn't want any cables so this is what I use but it has to be custom made I'm sure. Mine was. Ipod has a little piece of velcro and a little patch is attached discreetly to fairing. Might work on a Nano also. PM me if you want more info.
