Thanks for the specifics. That is a much cleaner (pun intended) look than many other mounts I have looked at.

I am also setting up a weather proof quick disconnect power plug.... I will be able to remove this in just a second - then secure it in the tour pac.... all depends on where I am... for the most part - with the Techmount set up that I am using... it is fairly secure IF the bad guy does NOT have tools - If I will be way out of sight and its dark... Off it comes...

I really like the Techmount - very clearn and built super nice...

That techmount is what I am going with. I use one now for the Ipod so I'll just buy a 2nd top plate for a quick change out etc and prolly a powerlet for the power.
