Default Pop, Pop, Pop ... is this normal?

I picked up my bike last week after a new dyno with my SERT and the new 103 stage II. I am very happy with the way it rides now and the additional power is just what I was looking for. It was the best $1400 I've spent on the bike yet.

However, I get a LOT of popping (I'm sure there is a name for this but I don't know it) from the exhaust nearly every time I get out of the throttle or downshift. Before the new build I hardly ever heard this. Is this something I should be concerned about?

With a good proper tune and no exhaust or intake leaks, you should not have popping.

I assume you get the POP (AKA backfire) with deceleration/closing the throttle? Have the AFR (Air-Fuel Ratio) checked by the shop that did the dyno. Or it may be an "inherent" side effect of the exhaust set-up you have.

When I had Thunderheaders on my old '02 FLHR, I learned to live with the pop because the bike ran fine otherwise. The shop said they can minimize the pop but the bike's tune will not be "ideal"

Thanks for the help guys. Attached is a copy of the dyno. The AFR looks good to me. I am running the same Fatcats. Will the popping/backfire do any damage?

The popping will not, the backfire will, eventually.
