Anybody got any suggestions (other than painting the whole thing) on how to touch up the stock black satin finish. Some spots are faded out from the sun. Maybe tire polish or a polish from the grills of an electric range top?
this may sound strange and I have tried several things on mine, but believe it or not baby oil will turn it back black. won't last forever, maybe a month or so and yes it is a cheap fix but it doesn't seem to hurt anything and it will make it black.
It is da bomb! You put it on with those sponge throw away paint brushes. I did everything that was black on the bike and it will make the thing look like new, you will love it! I used about half of the 12 oz. bottle about six months ago. Been riding it all winter and the inner fairing still looks pretty good. I ran across these products while at Destination Daytona back in the fall, it was a detail shop named Dino's Detail. I also got the metal polish for the wheels, guess what? They looked new too!

I think I'll be trying this stuff. I did my inner with the Back to Black and it looks new so far. If it starts to fade then I'll definitely go for the Black Out.
