Thanks for the confirmation as well. I got the two sizes I mentioned originally from Dennis Kirk after checking with Dunlop today. I got both for a couple pennies under $214 shipped (front $92, rear $112, free shipping).
Figured with my Ultra, with the passenger and packing weight when we travel, I'd better stay as close to original size as possible. Nice thing is rear gives me more weight rating, and the tires overall should blow away the mileage ability of the stock Dunlops.
LP: thanks for the pics.
The 160 actually has a higher load rating than the MU90 (992 @ 40psi for the 160 and 930 @ 40 psi for the MU90). You can't go wrong with either. The 160 is more expensive though.
LP was actually the one I was referring to that had put this tire on his bike. Thanks again LP!

I ordered the sizes I originally posted, Dennis Kirk will have them here tomorrow. Two day turn around time from order to door, I'm happy.
I'll make a note on the 160 for a future purchase. Thanks for all the help.

Hey thanks for the plug! Yeah I went with the 160 just to see if it was really any wider and like you I really liked the load rating. 992 is awesome.
No matter what size you guys pick, you're going to love the way your bike handles with these tires. They are simply awesome. I can't say enough about them.
I'm on my second set of E-3's, and I really like em. Great prices, and with the free shipping it's really hard to beat... Last purchase was with Dennis Kirk, previous one with RonAyers.com. Good Luck
Looking to get a set of the E3 Dunlops for my '08 Ultra (stock 9-spoke wheels). Went through a number of previous posts trying to figure out the correct tires to get, and can't find an exact answer. This is what I figured out:
Front: MT90B16 72H
Rear: MU90B16 78H
Am I correct on these two sizes? I hate to order tires and have to return them if they don't fit when they get here.
Man, I'm glad you started this thread. I, like you, read the other threads on this and couldn't make a possitive decision on the sizes they were running. This clears it up though. Just replaced my rear, still have the stock front, but next time I'll be switching to the E3's.
