Service Manual is a must. I followed it setp-by-step last weekend, took about 2 hours to remove. It's at the painter right now, should have it all back together next week.

Awe Heck...Don't buy a service manual. It a lot more fun to just tear it apart then try to remember how it all went together. J/K...buy the manual and take your time!

it took me about 2 hours to do mine and I marked everything with number or color tape. Not a hard job.

It took me about 3 hours to do the entire job, its very simple if you follow the service manual. I took my inner fairing to a local car dealership bodyshop and they painted it for $60 dollars.
good luck.....

I spent like 2 1/2 days on mine but i was in no hurry and i also did some cleaning before reassembly too. Its not a hard job. Ont thing though Pics maybe a good idea to get the wiring back where it was. Ive always had a problem with mine after the crash and the indy didnt get the wiring back where it was. That makes the outer fairing harder to install.. I did some re arranging and its still not factory but its a lot better..
