Danny Gray Big Seat. Love it! It will lower as well as set you back a bit. I'm sorry I don't know exactly how much because I never rode with the stock seat, put the DG on before I drove home, but from only sitting on RKC in the showroom my guess is down and back 3/4 to 1 inch both ways.
I have the large pillion and have been told it's very comfortable. I have the small backrest and it's great, just in the small of my back. I think it's a great looking seat as well. I recommend getting the "gel" insert. It needs to be done at the factory but it helps take out some of the vibration, you can feel it at stops. It's actually a medical foam that doesn't freeze or leak. Call Sherry at DG; 888-443-2669.
I had a CC 2-up on my Sportster, a very good seat, but went to a Danny Gray solo.
I was always under the impression that the mustang solo + pillion would put me forward which is why i wasnt considering them.I guess i'll have to look into that further.
they say they put you forward but i've never noticed what i can tell you is my legs used to tingle after about 50 miles and start to go numb around a hundred. i love the mustang, it's important that it fits right. so if you can find a dealer where you can put one on your bike or put one on one of the horse things to test it i would give it a look.
plus if you're going to leave the pillion on it acts as a great backrest just a little bit of pressure where you need it.
they have several pillions too depending if you want looks or to give your old lady something comfortable
