Default Solo seat???

I have a 2006 street glide just upgraded to bad dad fender and stretched bags looking at solo seat options now! From what I can read seems everybody really likes the c&c seats what's ur guys thoughts! Have to have a passenger pillion and eant comfort but also looks!! I'm thinking the pillion should be about 9-10 inchs anything smaller would prolly be uncomfortable for the misses! Any input would be greatly appreciated if I go the c&c route do I do the stitching? And also do I do the vinyl or leather pros and cons of each

You are allowed to have as many seats as the two of you want. Frankly your missus should have the most comfy seat you can find and don't penny pinch, nor worry what the bike looks like when nobody is on it. When you ride solo you can sit on whatever floats your boat.

I have a mustang solo with backrest and passenger pillion. I am very happy with the seat its very comfortable for both of us. I dont have any experience with c&c but didnt like leperra or corbin seats. Check out the classified section of the forum there are some great deals that show up on seats.

I picked up the Roland Sands 2-Up Boss Seat for my '15 SGS. It is made by Mustang for him. No real seat time on it yet as the snow flew way too soon. But I like the look and feel.

+1 on the Mustang. I pulled my stock seat and installed the Mustang with the rider adjustable backrest. I initially didn't 'love' it; there was a subtle reshaping of the cushion that felt odd compared to the stocker, but after about 300 miles I'd changed my tune completely. Longest day I've done with it so far is about 800 miles, but my butt felt great.

I also bought the passenger pillion - it installs in about 2 minutes and my daughter says it's super comfortable (wife won't ride with me so I got no spousal input, sorry)

Whichever brand you end up with, get one with a backrest. You'll be glad you did later.

Also have the Mustang the back rest is a must and is easy on and off and folds to fit in your bags. Passenger seat goes on with one screw, had a corbin and I think this one is more comfortable.

ordered a two tone mercedes solo the other day from C&C. They were great to deal with and steered me toward the vinyl stating they look as good as the leather with more consistent quality. should get it in three days and can't wait.
