Thanls for all the suggestions, I've found an HJC and a Scorpian I like, now just have to make a decision. The size on the Scorpian is in centimeters, how does that equate to inches? I'm not the best math guy in the world.
1 centimeter = 0.393700787 inches
Or, try one of the online calculators to do the math for ya.
I converted 1 centimeter to inches, you converted 1 inch to centimeters. If you multiply 2.54 centimeters by .393700787 (both numbers are actually rounded off, so it won't come out exact), and you're back to one inch.
Maybe that's why HD does everything in inches, and stays away from metric.

My wife bought me the Scala Multi-Rider for x-mas and I love'em. They fit my full face and half helmet both with no drilling or cutting of the liners. They came with two spacers to help mount the mikes with, but I needed two more so I could just swap out from full face to half without taking the spacers off(Stuck with double sided tape)so I called them and they sent me 4 more free of charge. Great product, blue tooth compatable,no transfered wind noise, and PTT or VOX activted. I would recomend them to anyone.
i got the j&m half helmets that have the zip off flap with earphones and coms built in love hte hemets very comfy and good function. was a little disappointed with the integrater though it got wet and never worked quite right again
Hi, I purchased a second helmet at the cleveland motorcycle show. A full face VEGA helmet. It has accomadations for the headset . I paid 75.00 New www.vegahelmets.com
Gunner if you are planning on using the stock HD headsets for anything but talking over the CB or the intercom forget it. They sound as if the speakers are blown when you get them loud enough to hear and if you turn them down enough to rid yourself of that buzz you can't hear anything. As someone else pointed out you should find a helmet that fits you well that is designed to accept a headset then get hold of a J&M headset. I bought mine on Ebay but you can order them off of their website.
J&M has a wide range of quality helmet/headset combos, shortys, 3/4's, flips, and full coverage, at both high and low price points ,,,,, and they will all connect directly to the Harley audio system with the correct lower section hook-up cord ,,,
just go to the J&M home-page at www.jmcorp.com and click on the helmet/headset combos you have been hunting for ,,,,,,
