of course you can go lower drop down to a 10 3/4 shock with no bottoming out look up lowman motors.com in newmexico he lowers all his bikes 2 1/4 inch in rear and your street glide comes with 12 inchers on it so you can drop it another 1 1/4 inches below where you are buy some shocks from them there designed to not bottom ya u get a hard ride you cant have best of both worlds is it the look you want or the ride you need to decide me personaly i prefer my bike you look good ! i dont care if it rides like a corvett if you want low profile you dont but a car that sits up high and then dream it was lower you lower it and deal with a stiffer ride is all . people will always tell you to do what they do till they find out it works for you then they are asking you how you did it !!!!!!
