Thanks for the heads up. It's going up to 50 here in NOhio tomorrow and I was going to take my recently healed broken leg for a ride! Would have really sucked to lose a lid!

Just checked mine and there all good, but the spring is rusty. How much more could it be to make that little spring out of stainless? Come on HD.

Good post, Ill be checkin mine today. Ironic a buddy of mine called this week to say last week one of his lids blew off somewhere on a ride. He said its about $550 for a new lid with locks and hinge parts.
