For those that have their scoots serviced at the dealer for 1k, 5k, etc. the techs are supposed to check and lube all the hinges and such. Kind of an oxymoron, but.....

So I guess those of us with new bikes should blue locktite the screws.

You know, I just traded in my RKC (leather bags) for a SG and I just waxed the bags on SG this weekend. After I wawed the bike, I went out and got and picked up a few things for the wife at Walmart. I gotta say anyone who thinks hard bags are less work and hold more stuff hasn't owned leather bags. Don't get me wrong, I love my street glide, but the hard bags are taking some getting use to.

I posted on another thread that my lid came apart on me while on the road just a little over a week ago. Managed to find two of the five screws. A trip to the home depot and some loctite and I was back in business. I guess it happens alot more often than you might think.

Thumbs up

Much appreciated my friend! I'll do as someone else and, even if they're not loose, I'll pull 'em and loctite 'em back in.
