I'm thinking buying the advanced XM Module for my 07 ultra and was wondering if I can install it or do I have to take it to a dealer to have it installed? Any suggestions or advice???

If youre talking about the HD on, it was plug n play. I had to buy an overlay harness for my RG, but an Ultra may already have the plugs in the oem harness. The hardest part was taking the fairing on and off.
My opinion is, it was pricey but Ill never go back!

 

Go with Sirius since they own XM anyway. I have the reciever in my truck. went to Tss-radio.com and bought the professional mount for the bike for $70.00 and just take back in forth from truck to bike with one subscription. Just my opinion but works great.
