I just bought a new 2009 Ultra. I sold off my 1998 Ultra. With the 98 it came with a video tape that explained the radio system....Is there a video out there to explain the new radio or do I have to read the book which isn't too good ??? Thanks in advance Be Safe JIM
It's all in your owners manual, best thing to do for me was to turn the switch to acc. and go through the process of pushing buttons..kinda explains itself with a little hands on.
What they said. But you won't find a way to scan through the preset stations with the handle controls. That's one feature this radio needs badly
Just use your thumb control on the right handlebar (opposite your volume control on the left). Granted, you have to keep pushing the button down, but it allows you to easily go through your presets.

not mine. it'll scan up or down to the next strong signal. It might stop on a preset but it won't go straight to the next preset.

I stand corrected. Just went out into the garage to double check. Just so happens my 3 presets are stations right next to each other on the frequency band in my area. You are correct.
