OK, I have been completely through the photo threads and cannot find the bike I am looking for. There was a guy here on the forum that has a black batwing with a blue or blue and white bar and shield on the top of the fairing. It has some blue flames or lightning bolts around the edges.
Anybody remember this or know who's bike this is? I am in the process of planning a paint scheme and really liked this setup.
I'm thinin it was about a year ago that I saw it first. I've seen it recently, but don't remember if the picture was part of his sig or other attached photos,
And yes, your co-worker got ahold of me and I sent him a check last week.
I'm thinkin about changing to some pull back handlebars when I have everything apart. I saw in another thread where you recommended Khrome Werks. Which part number will fit my Street Glide the best? Just lookin to get the grips about 2" closer to me. Any suggestions about where to buy the bars? Are they drilled to install internal wiring? Any other advise?

Thanks!
Khromewerks 300505 for pre 08 bikes, if you have an 08 or 09 then go with 300515. They are the same bars but the 515's have the throttle sensor notches cut in them. They are not drilled for internal wiring. You can get them through Drag Specialties or several other places. There is one place that is a forum sponsor, name escapes me now, but some folks on here have gotten them there.

On an 06 S/G can I retain the original cables if I go with the 505's?

It could be done, but the throttle/idle is pretty sticky and the clutch cable would have to be rerouted. Best if you replace clutch and throttle/idle cables
Pn#'s for cables needed
Clutch=38649-98
Throttle=38650-98
Idle=56730-03

Warehouse Direct is the Forum Sponsor that sells the Khrome Werks bars. They have a link on here.
