Default New Ultra Questions

I did a quick search and couldn't find the answers, though I'm sure they are out there. But I thought I'd post a couple questions to get a jump on things.

1. Will the CD player on the '09 Ultra play MP3s on the CD?

2. Anyone using Cobra Fi2000R or Power Commander on the '09? Make any difference on the heat or miles per gallon?

3. Dealer had an '09 Ultra with the Stage 1, 103ci Kit, but the mid-frame air deflector was missing. When I asked a different salesman he said, "They don't come with that, it's an extra item." I've read many magazine articles that mention the air deflectors are standard, but surprisingly the pics of the '09 Ultra on even the HD site seems to have bikes without the air deflectors. First question, did I miss something or are the deflectors standard on the Ultra? Will install of 103 kit or even the rider's adjustable backrest require removal of the deflectors?

4. Burning boot on exhaust was a problem with the Heritage, are the pipes on the Ultra going to create the same problem? If so, anyone using a boot/heel protector?

5. I've got a Nexus 50 radio for my portable XM use (connects antenna with 15 foot long wire) and I was wondering what auxiliary plug the Ultra uses for hook up to an MP3 player or an XM unit. Anyone know how much the XM hookup for the HK system on the Ultra is?

6. Does the Ultra come with two headsets?

Thanks guys and gals. I'm chomping at the bit to get this bike and start riding.

1) The CD player will play MP3s on a CD
2) I just installed the PCV on mine. Power is up, mileage is down a bit. Hard to tell about the heat. Live in Southern Ontario Canada and the temps right now are 30's and 40's but seems to be a bit cooler.
3) Far as I know they are standard on the Ultra. Mine is a Canadian bike but I don't think that matters. I was told they were standard when I bought mine.
4) I have never had that problem on any of my bikes and I do not use a heel protector.
5) Uses the same standard AUX plug that your car uses.
6) Only comes with one headset supplied but there are hookups for driver and passenger on the bike.
Best bike I have ever owned. You are going to love it!

1. Yes, I have CD's with 100+ songs on them and play fine.
2. I have a PC V but haven't installed it yet. It's still ave 45 deg here.
3. Mine were missing too, but whe I mentioned it to the dealer, they said that they were standard on 09's and installed them.
4. I also have not had a problem with my, or my passenger marking the exhaust.
5. The aux plug is 3.5mm or 1/8, standard mp3 jack.
6. One headset.

I wonder if the dealers are not installing the deflectors hoping customers won't notice and selling them elsewhere? I would bet that they are not installed by the factory but shipped in the crate and expected to be installed at setup time by the dealer.
