I am very interested in a set for me and the passenger on my '09 Ultra. I tried your side but was unable to see any products for touring. Let me know when you are ready to take an order. Best wishes for much success!
I will have product available on web site by end of month. This will be the first run production run with these designs. I learned the hardway.. don't do a large run when you have not proven out your processes. That said, this first run will only be about 75 sets. I want to make sure the production run processes have been perfected.
I will send out another note and have Terry announce when I have product ready to deliver.
Thanks,
Doug
Nice looking product and made in the Good Ol' U.S. of A.
Currently, these are being lasered in Colorado Springs and chromed in CA. Then they come back to me in the Denver area to inspect, package and deliver.
As I mentioned in my opening post, these are not production chromed. They are finished as the most quality "show chrome"
any chance of getting it in gloss black to go with the gloss black billet aluminum levers for the brakes and shifters. great looking product.
Rubbit,
I have tested other finishes on my Dyna and Softail models. The chrome next to the pipes actually reflects heat. You can have your pipes popping hot and my guards are only warm to the touch. I tried doing a flat black for the blackout bikes, but the exact same guard on the exact same bike built up heat because it was being absorbed instead of reflected. I have not tried the black look with the Touring version, yet. It is something I will consider as I am able to expand my line. I know the chrome works so until I can get some sales under my belt, I have a limit on expanding the product line.
Welcome to the Forum and thanks for being a sponsor! Looking forward to your website!
Ride Safe, Mike
As I mentioned earlier, I have an 08 street glide myself. I am designing the guard for the left passenger's footpeg. It will mount like the dynas and softails I have currently listed on my web site www.bitchin-guard.com. The guard itself will be custom shaped for that rear cylinder pipe that goes vertical on the left side behind the primary. It is hard for the passenger to keep the foot off that pipe.
I hope I can get a set of guards just for your street glide...
Thanks and I would appreciate any help you can give me in getting the word out on my new product line.

Pricing will be listed on web site by end of month

I'd be interested in knowing some pricing for a simple design, as soon as you're up and running. There's probably more than a few riders around here that would love it.
Thanks for the interest. I will have designs ranging from 79-150.00. Some have laser designs cut through like on the pics I posted and some will be custom laser etched. The laser etching looks GREAT! However, since they cannot be mass produced (hence custom) the laser engraver charges per minute on the laser bed. These prices will be a bit more, but worth it since you have it made to your specs.
Looks good. May need to consider get some for my ride.
I know this is going to be a great product. I put a lot of time and spent a boat load of money in finding a manufacture that can make something I will put my name on. People told me I was being too picky.. they said anyone would be satisfied with the quality that comes on some of the other H-D accessories. I pushed to make sure when you compared my product with what comes from the H-D catalog that you could see the difference.. I believe I met that goal.
