Question Monkey Bagger Bars!

I am developing an itch for a set of these bars...WOW! these look great. I wanted to hear from those who have these and what is your opinion. These sit 12" tall and wanted to know if they also come in 10". Look like they go for about $379.00. Is it worth it?

If I was running a fairing I would have them for sure. They might be expensive but what the hell. If you like them get them. They are sick!!

Call them and tell them what you want. They will make these in 10" or 8". I have some 1 1/4" on order.

I really like mine very comfy and IMHO look great.

I can tell ya $375.00 is just the tip of the iceberg. It's going to cost a lot more than that especially if you have them installed.

Good luck. They are worth it to me.

I love my Yaffe bars, the quality is great and they look great on the bike but as mentioned $375 is but the tip of the iceberg. I installed my own and would do it again without a second thought. I am not sure what everybody else has gotten in actual height but I measured mine and they are actually 13"s and not the 12.5 as advertised but the way i see it I got a half inch so that justified the price a little better. Ordering a custom size set though...could be pricey.

I have Cyclesmith 13" not Yaffy, but the afects are the same. You'll also need +6 on all cables and brake lines. It took me two days to do mine. If you do it yourself, get a manual and take pics. They are good to look back on when reasembling. While its down, now is a good chance to change to chrome controls. Ya see where this is going, cha ching.

The bars, if doing it yourself, are about half the price of the complete job. I went with braided line/cable etc.. They do look nice, they ride nice, they look even better. PYO was great to work with, no problems on that end. They are taller than the advertised height.. I also got the "thicker" bars and am glad I did for running the wires internally..
