Been looking into the Hogtunes tweeter pod a bit more. It does make sense to bring the tweeters up and pointing right at the rider-relying on Hogtunes good base output from the fairing speakers. Think I'll talk to my dealer (just not handy enough to do it myself). Gonna say I'm not overjoyed, ask them to have someone who knows their stuff to look at the work (also consider removing the dynazorb), and go ahead and add the tweeters. I'll report back on the results.
Things like this make me feel so good that my stock radio sounds great even at 70-75. Having 4 speakers has a lot to do with it, but I see no need to fix something that ain't broken.

You are not going to notice how well the Hog Tune setup works listening to it in the garage. The way to really see what it does is to ride it. I have 3" true duals, and I can hear the misuc fine at 75mph. That is where I was really able to see the difference with mine.
Does the amp have a built in High/Low bypass or filter switch. The switch usualy is a three-way (he he he I said three-way) switch that says something like this:
H - OFF - L
Its possible that the amp is limiting the higher sound range if it is set on the "L" setting. It should be on the "OFF" setting for full range sound.
This sounds like what the issue Might be for sure. It happens in cars too! The dynasorb should not be limiting your sound at all. As a matter of fact it should be moving whatever sound it doesn't absorb back out the front. Do that small check...ya might be surprised!
