I just cover my radio with a large towell and avoid water directly towards the radio

also wait a couple of hour before you turn it on to dry-ride safe

Mine acts funny everytime it gets wet. I now just turn it off when it starts to rain, and it seems to work fine after it drys.

washed bike carefully with a hose this spring but hand controls did get wet, then radio controls act up til it dried a few hours later. they acted up as in the volume control didnt work,no biggy just used the manuel control.
Now the other day was riding in a downpour for 2 hours and controls went so freaky i would need 2 paragraphs to explain. To the point it blocked even manuelly controling stuff....

Had to sit overnight and all was good TG!!. Went and removed fairing and gave a shot of (water displaceing) wd-40 on back plug on radio and to the hand controls I really sprayed it around,in,behind...ect.put a rag around hand control to soak up excess.

To those that had this kind of experience, what did you do? New control switches(bitch to change)?,use some spray?, just live with it?,create some kind of seal? tape/baggies or move to the desert?
