Radio problems
On my 06 Ultra, it started a month ago. If I leave the radio on and shut off the bike, sometimes it will blow the memory fuse on the radio about 1 out of 20 times. Today I was riding and I hit the station selector switch, the music changed but the display stayed the same ! I shut the bike off, waited a few minutes and everything is fine. What gives ? It never sets outside and I make sure not to get water on windshield or radio.

common problem on the 06's It was the first year of the Harmen-Karden radios, and they had some problems. Mine was replaced twice while under warrenty. Hope you got the extended Warrenty, that radio is 1300.00

From what my local dealer/mechanic told me about the radios is if mine worked is is better than the rebuilds they are getting for replacements. They are changing the same radio more than a dozen times to get one that will work part of the time. The warranty replacements are refurbished units and they are junk, from what the local dealership is telling me.
