Default "Bad Dad" Bag Extensions

I just got a set of the 2 3/4" bag extensions from Bad Dad, without a doubt the glass work is some of the best I've seen, I helped a friend install a set of Ness extensions and the fit was BAD, took a lot of filler, twisting, etc. to get lined up. These are heavy, gelcoat is super slick. I'll let you guys know how they fit. Gary

I'll be interested to see how they look once complete. Might be nice to do a little photo walk through from beginning to end on your bag extension project. I know there'd be a lot of folks interested. Thanks.

One of the owners of that company used to post quite a bit here...haven't seen him for a while though. His Road King with extended bags and headlight nacelle looked dang nice on that black bike of his. I believe he won the Bike of the Year contest here in 2007.

I worked about an hour last evening getting the bags ready for the extensions. They fit great on the sides and back-the only thing I noticed is the fit on the front side, its gonna take more filler and building out of the corners than I would have liked. Still, they are 10 times better fitting than the NESS set, I'm not busting on Ness they are just the only ones I have personal experience with. I think when you use extensions you gotta accept that they aren't going to fit like a glove, it takes some work to get them right. Gary
