Did a Speedometer/tachometer up-grade on a 08 road king classic.
Speedometer is right on acording to GPS better than oringal. Problem is it states you have up to 600 color choices for back lighting. I only need one, problem is it is set on pink and hence the need for change.
Directions say go to trip meter hold index switch in until the word color appears then scroll thur color until selection is made. They state after selection is made the word color will not appear.
I have tried to get to color change mode and can not find. Anyone have any experience with these and how to set them ?
I had one of those on my Fatboy. I just held the trip reset meter in until the word COLOR showed up, released, then quickly started scrolling through the colors until I found one I liked, then left the button alone and the new color was set and the trip meter numbers showed back up.
