My wife and I used the Blueants on a 2 week trip out West last year and they have their ups and downs. All in all we were very satisfied and the customer service was A+.
i have a set. we used all of last year. they worked great. i liked the range, the ability to talk naturally and they were reliable. the negatives, i think the most i got out of a charge was 4.5 hours but more in the 3-4 hr range. they do have a learning curve. i also pulled the mike wire too much and it needed to be taped to keep the connection. blu ant said they would replace the mike with no problems. just never got around to it.
i changed to a j&m cb because of the distances we travel. i liked the blu ants better but for cross country i needed the cb. if you want a used set let me know.
I have a BlueAnt system and have no complaints. Like angelina78 said the battery lasts only 4-5 hours but that is good enough for me...I don't need to hear my wife the whole trip...LOL
I use the Blueant system for bike to bike. Yeah, operating times are low.
Got it for use when riding with a pard and want communication. Tried it linked to my phone....done it once, but the call was VERY clear. The noise cancelling is awesome stuff, but riding and phone calling just don't mix.
Also use it for 1/2 helmet communication on the Ultra....works OK...but not great. I've got to come up with a better way to attach to the ear??
I believe you get what you pay for in these systems. Figure out what you want and spend the extra $$ to get the best system, don't compromise.
