Default Rinehart TD Help?

I bought a set of Rinehart TD for my 06 RG and have a couple of concerns with the fitment. The left side went together with little problem, but the right side seems very tight to a couple of bolts. The header pipe near the rear passenger floorboard frame mount is extremely close, not much more room then the thickness of the heatshield clamp. The second issue is the gap between the muffler and rear wheel axle bolt (this is while on the bike lift). I know I can twist the muffler counter clockwise to create more space, but I'm **** about keeping muffler mounting plate parallel to the ground.

For anyone that has these pipes installed what kind of space do you have at these points mentioned.

1. The last heatshield clamp on the right side before the muffler to the floorboard frame mount bolt?

2. The gap between the right muffler and axle bolt (on my bike it's the threaded end of the bolt too)?

Thanks,

Did you just buy this exhaust, brand new from a dealer?

A while ago, approx. 2 years, there was a bad run on the right side (front) pipes. The bends were done wrong and would cause everything to be very close to the frame and axle as you are listing. Bub (Rinehart) was replacing them free of charge and including a new heatshield to match.

Yes, I bought them about 2 months ago from M and M cycle. I did call Bubs about it and they did say they would send me a new header and heatshield. I just wasn't sure it would fix the problem, and didn't want to take the whole thing apart if it was going to be the same thing. That's why I asked here first since so many people have them. Thanks a lot maineultraclassic for taking the time to answer this for me.
