I have a 09 FLHX, to me, the stock exhust sounds "tingy", weak and such. I can not afford to pay for the camander, up grades and such, the bike has the 96 C.I. motor. I was wanting to know if anyone has modified there stock exhust to give it that "deeper sound"? I was thinking about knocking out a 3/4 hole in the baffles but I dont want to distroy this beautiful bike but again, I have NO money, the work place has cut my hours......so Im looking for a remedy to give the bike the deep sound. Thank you all for all your advice.

I'd not damage the stock exhaust (although some would and have). You can go with slip ons without doing a tuner or air cleaner. I believe you'd have to get it reflashed.
Go to the Fuelmoto site or Jackpot mufflers and check out the Jackpot slipon mufflers. Check with Jamie@fuelmoto and he can tell you for sure but you should not need to do anything else with just slipons. If all else fails, just remember this one simple step. At the end of each day before you go to bed, walk out to the garage or wherever your Harley is at and just look at it. If that doesnt put a smile on your face and distress you a little bit, then forget the pipes and start saving for a therapist.
