Default Rider position with a solo seat on a 08 RG

I really like the look of the solo seat (with a back rest) on the baggers and I have convinced myself I need one. I like my riding position with the stock seat on my 08 RG so I don't want to screw up my comfort so I need some help. I don’t want to order a solo seat to find out that I have moved in riding position. I really do not want to sit higher or move forward. I am looking at the HD Signature Series Solo Seat and the Mustang solo with backrest. Does anyone know how these seats affect the rider position from the stock seat?

Any other comments regarding these seats would be appreciated.

Thanks

I just put a Mustang Classic Solo 15" with backrest on my '06 Road King, and it moved me slightly down and about 1" back as compared with the stock saddle, just what the Mustang tech told me would happen. I wish it would have gone lower and further back as I'm 6'3", but as I understand it the backrest mounting hardware limits any further movement because it's against the frame with a minimal amount of padding. YMMV with the RG, but I wouldn't expect the Mustang Solo to move you forward or up at all.

ps. Buy direct from Mustang's web site and get $1 shipping and a 14-day free trial period (just pay the shipping back to them if you don't like the seat). Hard to beat that deal.

blueride - nice looking bike. I was looking at the ebay seat but I would like to know how is the riders position compared to the stock seat. Is this ebay seat yours?

Those two into one black pipes look great! Now you got me thinking of another upgrade. I think I should stay off this site.
