Who makes sundowner seats?
I don't know who makes Sundowner seats, but I would like to extend a big thank you! I believe that I speak for everyone on this forum in saying that we appreciate and respect your service and sacrifice.
Best wishes and come home safe,
John
I was looking at that particular one. It looks like not that many people have them though. Do you find it comfortable? did it move you up or down? fore or aft? I am only 5'8" i am wondering if it would work for me.
I don't have my bike yet, but I saved a few dollars over several deployments to buy a couple of accessories once I get it delivered next month.
John, thanks, appreciate that. I have been wondering around on deployments for many years, its time to go home, retire, and enjoy the grandchildren and the rides, lol

It does sit me slighly lower than stock and is quite comfortable. The passenger pillon is huge IMO, which I don't like as I'm not going to be carrying a passenger other than the occasional friend who wants a ride. Even though it got me a little lower and maybe a tad closer, it wasn't a big enough difference from stock to get excited about. I'd think for a passenger though, it'd be more comfy.
BTW, I'm 5'8" too...the Badlander (not good for touring) is the best HD seat I tried for getting me flat footed. I don't need to be closer, so the HD Reach was awful. Didn't try the HD Brawler. Aftermarket, the choices have been limited for the 09's with the new frame. New ones are available all the time though. The Mustang is the best fitting/most comfortable of the bunch I've tried. Corbin just made 09's available so I've not tried theirs. Just be aware, 09 seat pans are different, so what works on older bikes, may not be the case on 09's...they can't be re-worked (Mean City Cycles) to the extent the pre-09's can.
A big THANK YOU for your service...stay safe!

Here's one I had that shows it from the back...it's not the best, but does give you an idea of the width of the front up by the tank.

Do you have the Sundowner Signature Solo? part 51700-09 like the one on Blueride's bike? if it is, yes, I would like to buy it.
By the way, thank you for that good insight on the ones you have tried.
