It took me 45 minutes to take off the outer and inner fairings (that was with labelling all the wires/plugs and cables). Hardest part was removing the throttle cables (forgot which was throttle and which was return).
If you are just going to paint the inner get your self a red scuffpad and scuff it all real well. Especially about 1/4" to 1/2" inch on the back side so the paint won't lift and peel over thus screwing up the paintjob.
Also as soon as you get the Stage 1. Go to your local indy shop and get the K&N filter. I only have 78 miles on my paper one and it already was showing signs of holes in the element. Rather get the K&N. Always had them in my cars and trucks and never had any complaints.
